SHAAMA was formed to address a simple problem: talented musicians in the Southern Hills region have no easy way to connect with the venues and events that need live entertainment — and venues have no easy way to find them.

We serve the region from Rapid City south through the Black Hills — Custer, Hot Springs, Edgemont, and surrounding communities — and west to Newcastle, Wyoming. Our goal is to keep live music thriving in the communities that make this region what it is.

Whether you're a solo acoustic performer, a working band with a following, or a venue looking for reliable entertainment, SHAAMA makes that connection easier.

The Process

How It Works

Simple by design. No membership fees, no complicated process.

Submit Your Info

Fill out the performer form with your act details, bio, contact info, and links to your music. Takes about five minutes.

We Review & List

SHAAMA reviews your submission and adds you to the regional directory. Venues browse when they need entertainment.

Get Booked

Interested venues contact you directly. You handle the details, set your terms, and play the gig.

Live music every Friday night. Karaoke every Saturday. Located on Highway 18 in Edgemont, serving the southern Black Hills community and travelers. The Igloo is SHAAMA's anchor venue.

A Note From SHAAMA

Looking for an Anchor Venue

SHAAMA's longtime anchor venue is currently closed. We're looking for a bar, brewery, or event space in the southern hills region to host regular live performances and become our new anchor venue. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
